Meet Your Therapists

  • I am a registered massage therapist (RMT) , and I am practicing out of Nelson, BC. I graduated in 2019 here in Nelson, and have enjoyed helping locals improve functionality so they can pursue the endless adventures that the Kootenay’s has to offer!

A genuine passion for wanting to help people led me to the health profession. I know first hand the transformative power of manual therapy. Massage therapy is an approach that encompasses so many spectrums in the therapeutic arts, and requires both skill and intuition offering. When it comes to pain management of soft tissue dysfunction, having an effective, personalized plan is imperative to the healing process. It requires trust and respect, and is the foundation that allows the process of moving toward the desired outcome.

I will customize a plan to create long-term benefits and I encourage my clients to feel empowered to participate in their own physical and mental health through personalized home-care for their own particular needs.

My hope is to be a part of your journey by offering you the tools that will help promote wellbeing in a holistic way.

Being a part of someone’s journey is both an inspiration and an honour. Our body is essential to our existence, we must take care of it.

  • Recent graduate of the RMT program at Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences.

Lynn was first introduced to massage when she learned Shiatsu in 2018. Since embarking on the path to become a RMT, her current approach now weaves in a variety of techniques.

Lynn is lead by curiosity and enjoys massaging a variety of body types. Also being an active person who loves to snowboard, climb, dance, hike, bike, and practice yoga, she is backed by a sound body awareness and understanding of recovery.

Above all, Lynn recognizes that each person is unique and that by listening closely to your body’s tissues, she adapts each massage to your needs.

Therapeutic massage is used to treat a wide variety of ailments, such as headaches, chronic muscle tension, tendonitis, runner’s knee, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, shoulder pain, low back pain, whiplash, TMJ and more. A customized treatment plan can be developed by your RMT to alleviate your symptoms, address any underlying causes and prevent your symptoms from returning. If you are rehabilitating, having proper support is so important, and we truly believe this and want to help. If you are pregnant or nursing, so many unexpected discomforts can arise, or if you just need to calm your nervous system to be able to sleep better and feel better, this is what we can offer as well!

  • "I'm so happy that I found such an excellent massage therapist! Annie is always super professional with a calm and welcoming demeanor. Annie includes me in the knowledge of what anatomy she’s manipulating and working on and I often leave with tidbits of new knowledge. She really helps me to manage my pain and continue to work on my own at home as well as leaving my body feeling relieved. Strong hands, and skilled! Also the office and linens are always clean and warm. Definitely a must!"

  • "Always my go-to recommendation for anyone looking for a registered massage therapist in the Nelson, BC area. From general relaxation to sport-related injuries, tight muscles from ailments such as asthma, Annie always makes me feel at ease. She listens and investigates deeper, but does so in a very compassionate, communicative, and intuitive way. I also love the ambiance of her massage studio, with soft music, a soothing water feature, and always warm, fresh linens. Furthermore, she will recommend certain stretches or gentle exercises that can help until your next appointment. We are so lucky to have her in our community!"

  • "Annie is an amazing and attentive massage therapist. Her space is calming and her treatments are always deeply therapeutic and professional. She takes good care of you and listens to your needs every time. Highly recommended!"
